I would really like to attend a "national" event this year but being someone that hasn't attended anything outside the midwest, I was looking for feedback and recommendations on which one you think would be best. I know some of you have been all over the country and I'm looking to you for your thoughts on this =)

The best ones I've been to are Camp Jitterbug in Seattle and Camp Hollywood in L.A. Eve and I want to go to both this year. Pick one of those. They are both incredible.

Hrm... let's see... oh, there are a couple really cool events in OMAHA! (insert shameless plug for local event here... =)
Midwest Bal Fest comin at the end of March.

I had a blast at Showdown (Minneapolis), even though I was kinda like the bottom feeder of the Lindy pond at that event. No workshops though. Just awesome social dancing, amazing live music and some incredible performances.

Hope you have a blast at whichever you pick!

I heard it was great! We might be going this year. We have so many on our calendar, I can hardly remember them all. But Mid West Bal Fest is a definite stop this year (help with the shameless plug there Jitterbug Steve). I think we have something every month of 2008. Looks to be a great year for danicng.
