Yes, that's right. We are doing it again! Iowa Lindy Blizzard 2008 is already in the works. Block off your calendar for December 5, 6 and 7. We are bringing to Iowa Kim Clever and David Frutos from Ventura California and Shannon and Bill Butler from St. Paul Minnesota. There will be at least two teaching tracks on both days Saturday and Sunday.

Welcome Dance is scheduled for Friday, December 5, with the preliminary rounds for Jack and Jill. Saturday Night will be the Jack and Jill Finals along with a couples "Anything Goes".

Classes will continue on Sunday.

We will have more information a little later. Remember "IOWA LINDY BLIZZARD II" December 5, 6 and 7 2008!

Can you just do it all the Olmsted Center? It has a nice floor. It's big and you already work with the Drake Swing Dance Club. They might be able to hook you up. Hotel Fort Des Moines would be Effing nice though. Downtown. and the guests could stay in the building. Better advertise the heck out of it though.

Man I'm super stoked for this event! I already now of 10 people from UI and quite a few from the Twin Cities who are coming down...not to mention all the Omaha and KC dancers. And the instructors are great! And the music! What else could you want from an all swing weekend?!? Be there!
