If you like the vintage music of the 20s and 30s and are looking for a new place to dance for a good cause, check out Jazz Fever March 8!

The event will be at Living History Farms in Urbandale Iowa. The event is a fund raiser for the museum. $15 per person or $25 per couple get you in to dance. Vintage munchies from the 20s, bath tub gin (not served in the tub, honestly), and a cash bar are all provided. LHF will showcase two of their 1920s cars--a Model A truck and Model t touring car--what a great photo op! Rides in the touring car will be available weather permitting!

Dress for the charleston, but balboa, east coast, lindy and ballroom are all most welcome! DJ Randy Reid will keep the place hoppin! Tickets in advance are recommended--call 515-278-5286 for info. Tickets will be available at the door as well on a limited seating basis!

Tickets at the door for the LHF Jazz Fever event are now only $8! Soda and munchies included in ticket price. Cash bar and bathtub gin available. Flapper beads free to anyone who wants them!

Doors open at 6:30. Come dance to some vintage tunes in a great atmosphere!

It was a great time and we appreciated all the enthusiasm. If anyone needs the bathtub gin recipe, let me know. I don't think there's anything historic or vintage about it, but it was definitely tasty!
