It's the third Friday of the month again, which means it's time for Jive Junction!

West Des Moines Community Center in Valley Junction. Free beginning dance lesson at 8:00, with an advanced move around 8:25, and then the lights go off and the music gets cranked up. Goes to 11:00. $5 at the door for the general public/$3 for Swing DSM members.

The weather sounds kind of cruddy, so take that into consideration if you're coming from out of town. I'm sure overnight accommodations can be found if you decide to drive into town and then decide you'd rather not drive home.
