UI Fall Swing Fling
September 5-6, 2008
Iowa City, IA

The UI Fall Swing Fling is the latest addtion to our line-up of stellar swing events. It will be a mini version of the HSF. There will be professional instructors, live music and we will wecome all the new Swing dancers to the UI Swing Dance Club.

Well, I've been chatting with a few folks. Who do you Cats want? I've asked Mike Falty but he is at the Inspiration weekend in Cali that day. I'm sure lots of instructors will be there. Here's some names that I would love see make the trip.

Announcement!!!

Our instructor for the 2008 UI Fall Swing Fling will be

Michael Faltesek of Seattle, WA. Formerly of St. Paul, MN, this Cat knows how the Midwest Lindy Hoppers do. He's one of the guys that made the MW Lindy Scene hoppin!!

Get to Iowa City on September 5th and 6th for 2 nights of dancing, 5 classes taught by the great Mike F and a band TBA!

What band do you guys want us to get? I have my eye on a couple but I'll take suggestions....and be reasonable.

I'll add some excitement for you. Sounds like a great series of workshops. Falty simply kicks ass.
