Since the Lindy Blizzard, we have been contacted by a group of young people who are interested in learning more about swing dancing. We are very excited that this event has touched so many people. Who knew????? Where one door closes another one opens, or something like that.

That's great. That's one of the main reasons people throw events and I'm glad to hear that it worked. Hopefully, we can get them to continue to attend events and dance. Nice work SIS.

I think we will get a few for sure, the guy in charge is from Utah and has had some swing dancing, but has been disappointed with the younger crowd participation. He is hoping to change that. And Step Into Swing is here to help make that happen. Oh, by the way it is Grandview College. They are even interested in forming a Grandview Swing Club. That makes two colleges here in Des Moines, now.

That's awesome! I'd be glad to come out and play some more if they get anything going. My options are a bit limited though, typically I'd only be availiable for Saturdays... but if something turns up... =)
