Step Into Swing will be at Java Joes Coffee Shop, 214 4th Street, Des Moines, Iowa, tomorrow night, January 10th providing you with music to dance to from 8-10. Don't forget there will be a FREE Beginning Swing lson at 8:00, then dancing, chatting and sipping on a cup of java. See someone doing a move you want to learn, just go up and ask them. We had a great turn out, several new swing dancers last night at Java Joes!. It was great! No formal lesson, we just gave a lesson to people as they filed in and decide they were ready. One couple, two, three or even just a lead or follow. I love this event. It was great! I think I taught the basic at least three different times during the evening. I even got a lesson from Swingdaddy on boogie woogie. What a wonderful realxed way to learn new moves. No pressure! I loved it, and I think everyone else did too. Can't wait to see what happens next week. Swing is here in the Metro!
